Intellectual property
The Pianovera name, logo, copy and app interface belong to their author. The app's sound samples come from a concert grand piano sampled key by key, released into the public domain.
The MIDI files offered for download on this site are public domain works, engraved by the Mutopia Project; each file's license (public domain or Creative Commons) is stated on its page.
Personal data
This site is static: it requires no account, shows no ads, sets no cookies and uses no third-party audience measurement tool. Like any web server, it keeps technical logs (IP address, requested page, date) for about 15 days, for security and diagnostics; we only derive anonymous traffic totals from them (visits and downloads per day). Details are in our privacy policy.
Your MIDI files, hand preparations, progress and videos stay on your computer. Internet is used for updates, the map and licensing. Your key is sent to Lemon Squeezy for activation or validation. Subscriptions require periodic verification. Payment details are processed by Lemon Squeezy, not Pianovera. The microphone, if you allow it, is only used to recognise the notes you play: the sound is analysed on the device and never recorded or sent. A Pianovera account is optional and lets you get Premium back on your devices; details are in the privacy policy.
If you email us, your address is only used to reply to you, and for nothing else.
Windows offers
The free version has no time limit and shows no ads: 30 pieces (10 in full, 20 in a simplified version), the 3D hands (10 free minutes, then 15 seconds at the start of each piece), the first 10 lessons (then one more per token earned in the daily challenge), the Natural studio look, a 15-second excerpt of the other pieces, 3 MIDI files of your own a week (30 seconds each) and 2 videos a week of up to 30 seconds, in 720p, without the hands and with a Pianovera watermark. Premium opens everything: Premium monthly (€6.99 a month including tax, no commitment), Premium yearly (€29.99 a year including tax, no commitment) and Premium lifetime (€59.99 including tax, one-time purchase) give all 651 pieces in full; every lesson, challenge and exercise; every lighting look and stage mode; unlimited MP4 videos with the 3D hands and without a Pianovera watermark. The monthly and yearly subscriptions start with 3 free days: nothing is charged if you cancel during those 3 days. The Creator offer no longer exists.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period and can be cancelled at any time in your Lemon Squeezy customer account; access stays open until the end of the paid period. A connection at least every 7 days verifies the subscription. Previously exported videos remain usable after it expires.
Standard and Pro licences purchased before 25 September 2026 remain valid for life and now carry Premium rights. Trials already started keep their original duration. Android Premium is purchased in the app through Google Play, monthly, yearly or lifetime, at the same prices in euros; a new subscriber may get a 3-day free trial when Google Play offers it. A purchase applies to the device where it was made; the optional Google sign-in restores Premium on Windows and on Android.
